An innovative method for enhancing advanced encryption standard algorithm based on magic square of order 6

چکیده

This paper introduces an improved advanced encryption standard (AES) cipher algorithm by proposing a new based on magic square to decrease the AES execution time. is done replacing Mixcolumn function with of order 6. raises security level cryptosystem using another key, which generated while decreasing For application encrypting colouring image, visual studio and MATLAB programs have been used as means for computing results. The results complexity, time execution, National Institute Standards Technology (NIST) tests, histogram, differential attacks peak signal noise ratio (PSNR) are computed compared original cryptosystem, proposed algorithms. in reasonable findings under several evaluation metrics. instance, complexity our higher than basic decreases execution. experimental show that suggested provides efficient secure way image encryption. leads leverage process well make linear cryptanalysis harder pre-process input initial step AES.
